We are so excited to share one of our favorite places with our favorite people! We have a fun few days planned and hope you can join us. Our website includes all of the details on getting to Elbow Cay, where to stay, things to do, and wedding activities, so your only job is to show up and have fun! GETTING TO ELBOW CAY

FLIGHTSGuests can fly to Marsh Harbour, Abaco (Leonard M. Thompson International Airport, MHH), direct from Atlanta, Charlotte, or Miami. Delta and American offer the most frequent flights. We suggest booking flights as soon as possible. June is a popular time in Abaco, and flights fill up quickly. TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORT TO FERRY DOCKSAfter you clear customs at MHH, head outside, and you'll find plenty of taxi drivers ready to take you the 15 minute drive to the ferry dock. Let your driver know you are headed to Elbow Cay, and they will take care of the rest! As a reminder, have cash ready for your driver- the US and Bahamian dollar are used interchangeably in Abaco. Before heading to the ferry dock, taxi drivers will gladly make a stop at Maxwell's Market to grab groceries and supplies to stock your cottage. There are no large grocery stores on Elbow Cay, so if you are looking for specialty items this is a great time to grab them! MARSH HARBOUR TO ELBOW CAY FERRYOnce you arrive at the ferry dock, you will head to the window to purchase your round trip ferry ticket to Elbow Cay. The ferry runs on a continuous schedule, so there is no need to schedule ahead of time. The ferry ride from Marsh Harbour to Elbow Cay is about 25 minutes. There are three different ferry dock drop offs once you arrive to Elbow Cay- the Lower Dock, the Post Office Dock, and the Lodge Dock. We suggest checking with your hotel or house manager to see where you should be dropped off. If you rented a golf cart, please ask your rental company where they will be delivering your cart- either the ferry dock or where you are staying. The Abaco Inn has been reserved for our guests. The website will show as sold out, so to reserve your room or villa, please call the number included above and mention the Weaver/Nelson wedding. The wedding reception will be held at The Abaco Inn.

Hope Town Inn &amp; Marina is just across the harbour from the Hope Town settlement. It is located next to the historic lighthouse. The Inn provides a ferry to and from the main part of Elbow Cay. The rehearsal dinner will be held at Hope Town Inn &amp; Marina.

The welcome party will be held at Firefly Sunset Resort.

GOLF CART RENTALS

Golf carts are the main method of transportation on the island. There are no rideshare services or taxis, so renting a golf cart is HIGHLY recommended. We have reserved a group of carts through Elbow Cay Cart Rentals and Big Hill Cart Rentals included below. They primarily offer four seater carts, but there are a limited number of six seaters available. When booking, mention the Weaver/Nelson wedding. Both companies are holding carts until November 15th, but they will sell out once bookings are open to the public, so we suggest reserving your cart as soon as possible.

Elbow Cay is a little slice of paradise in the Abacos- just five miles long, but packed with gorgeous beaches, colorful settlements, and a laid-back atmosphere. June is prime time on the island, so get ready to embrace "island time"- where things move at a more relaxed pace! Most shops and restaurants accept major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), but American Express is not typically accepted. Some spots are cash-only, so bring a little extra with you (ATMs are tough to find here). Tipping is always appreciated, especially in cash. US Dollars and Bahamian Dollars are accepted everywhere and are valued the same.
